May 11, 2008: Inauguration of NABC Convening Committee Office. Dr. Shahjahan Mahmud, Chairman of NABC Steering Commitee honors the opening ceremony. Present among others, M.A. Awal Chowdhury, Sadek Khan, Shuvro, members of the NABC Steering Committee, Convenor Giash Ahmed, Joint Convenor Jakaria Masud Jiko, Member Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hassan, Publication Chairmain Khondokar Farhad, Seminar Committee Chairman Khorshed Alam, Hotel, Venue and Accomodation Chairman AKM Jashimuddin, and many others were also present.

May 2, 2008: NABC host committee officials had invited Bangladesh Caucus Congressional Co-Chairman Congressman Joseph Crowley to join the NABC Convention. He accepted the invitation with great enthusiasm. April 7th, 2008: NABC Convener Giash Ahmed and Member Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hassan presented an award to 114th Pricent Auxiliary Unit. There are nine Bangladeshi police officers in this unit of which Syed Enayet Ali is the Safety and Security Chairman of the forth coming NABC sub-committee.
